- 1 lb boneless chicken cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger minced
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder adjust to taste
- 1 can 14 oz crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro chopped (for garnish)
- Cooked basmati rice for serving
In a bowl, mix yogurt, half of your minced garlic, half of your minced ginger, half of your spice blend, and a bit of salt and pepper.
