Most often, we are viewed as a group of friends who enjoy eating out and sharing our passion for great food, one station at a time. What is not known to many is that we also love bringing people together (bloggers, mostly) to discover new stations and together, share with everyone the wonderful fare this world of restaurants has to offer. Late last year, we had the opportunity of organizing a special bloggers’ event for the renowned Filipino establishment, Lydia’s Lechon, with the goal of reintroducing them to the public and promoting their special offerings, especially as we were nearing the Christmas festivities.
Quite pleased with the outcome, we not only gathered people sharing the same passion for food and experienced a feast of Filipino delicacies, but through this event, we also established deeper friendships amongst our bloggerselves while proving that Lydia’s Lechon has been in the industry for 51 years for the one reason we all know – good food.
Aside from the Lechon, our favorites were Lechon Paksiw, Kare Kare, and Beef Chili.
We also loved their Krispy Kangkong, Chicharon, and Chicharon Bulaclac, snacks we couldn’t keep ourselves from devouring up to the last shy pieces.
We realized that for something like Lydia’s Lechon, not much persuasion is needed for the public to patronize their products. There’s no denying that after 5 decades, it has become a household name.
By now, we all are aware that Lydia’s Lechon is one of the best go to lechon establishments in the country. Perfect for all occasions, they have been with us through the years. And after visiting and experiencing them again last year, we are more than convinced that they are more than just a lechon place.
Come to think of it, their branch in Pasig proves to be a comfortable dining venue befitting the entire family. And NOW is the perfect time to experience this first hand. So go ahead and don’t be shy. Visit them now!
